I love felt! I have rounded up a bunch of things to sew with felt for Christmas; they are all festive and cute. Wool-blend felt, not the cheap and shiny stuff, is amazing for hand sewing and great for beginners because it doesn’t fray, it isn’t slippery, and it’s delightful to touch. Free felt ornament tutorials are plentiful online and so much fun to make – you can use any ornament pattern blown up to a larger size and make it into a softie or an applique pattern, too.
If you’re looking for something to sew for an ornament exchange, a DIY neighbor gift idea, or soft ornaments, keep scrolling and see all the adorable felt Christmas sewing projects!
