This week is going to be stuffed with softies – I’m hosting a blog tour for my 4 Swoodson Says patterns! It is a little surreal to see a bunch of my blogging friends sewing up things from MY patterns, it gives me the warm fuzzies. I’ll be sharing a round-up each day this week, sharing who is posting that day, along with a giveaway & a 40% off sale!
This will be perfect timing for holiday gifts – everyone loves handmade toys. My softie patterns could also be sewn up as pillows, pincushions, bookends, doorstops, etc. and the backpack actually fits me, too!
Linda from Sew Happily Ever After sewed a Little Photographer’s Camera, I love the grey on grey front “lens”! She blogs lots of fun kids clothes & purses; one of her recent posts that I really enjoyed was 9 Ways To Get Out of a Sewing Slump.
Amy from Friends Stitched Together sewed a Little Driver’s Wheel, adding the coolest pintucked accents on the side! Paired with the flame applique, this might be my favorite Driver’s Wheel yet. Amy and I go way back, chatting online sewing, and I’m super excited that she has started her own pattern line with inventive kid’s clothes & accessories, Momma Quail Patterns.
Sarah from The Crazy Tailor sewed a Little Photographer’s Camera up too! Sarah and I started our blogs around the same time and I love seeing what she sews – her attention to detail & amazing photographs never fail to inspire. She recently made this beautiful quilt I’m coveting.

My fave is the great tutorial you made for a serger cover...finally got to make one, and no longer put it back in the box....

Loved the little bucket backpack that sew not perfect featured...too cute and a good size for the younger crowd...or me who does not want to carry too much around....

Thanks Lori!! It fits me just fine (I'm 5'2). Sometimes no pockets are a good thing- less crumb and receipt collecting for adults :)
