I’m Alive! and.. a Baby Boy Sewing Project!

Sharing is caring!

Wow.. I haven’t posted since my son was born 10 months ago! At first, I was so overwhelmed I could barely make a sandwich let alone sew. I’ve slowly eased back into creating and crafting but remain daunted at diving back into sharing my creations. No more! I am SO excited to sew for my son and this Christmas season.

Without further ado, my first two PDF patterns and my first entire outfit for a baby! Everything is made from upcycled knits – my absolute favorite. Tube tops are my newest favorite find because the inner shelf bra has elastic you can cut out and use too!

This particular one was a size medium, from Express. It had more than enough for a pair of pants even with matching the stripes!

Sorry, I don’t want my sweet boy’s face on the Internet! But, here he is playing and showing the front…

and the back of his outfit!
The patterns I used were the See Kate Sew Recess Raglan (with elbow sleeve, hemmed) and Terra’s Treasures Monkey Pants Pattern (for cloth diapers). The pants are a size 12m and the top is the 2t. I don’t mind baggy tops and he has a huge head so the bigger the better! We do cloth diaper – so these pants are perfect! Nice and stretchy.

I’m so excited to sew more things for him; a cardigan is next on the list!
