A finished palette measures about 13” from top edge to bottom edge.

This is a PDF, downloadable sewing pattern and not a finished product!  Read & see more in my blog post introducing the pattern. I always pin blog posts & customer photos to my pattern board here, too.

I’d love to see your palette if you make one! Email it to me – and feel free to sell, barter, etc. your finished products.

We love the Little Artist Palette at our house. My son and daughter both enjoy matching their colors and playing pretend with the palette. It is a great project for a enthusiastic beginner and inexpensive as felt and fleece can be purchased almost anywhere. Our biggest challenge is keeping track of our “paint” pieces. However, the pattern does have the option not to have removable pieces.
