Day 3 Blog Tour

Day three! A different vibe for Melissa’s palette & Kelly’s backpack, they look so sophisticated in different fabrics. Ula’s camera is super cute too – it has me itching to make a kitschy one in fabric like hers!

This week is going to be stuffed with softies – I’m hosting a blog tour for my 4 Swoodson Says patterns! It is a little surreal to see a bunch of my blogging friends sewing up things from MY patterns, it gives me the warm fuzzies. I’ll be sharing a round-up each day this week, sharing who is posting that day, along with a giveaway & a 40% off sale! This will be perfect timing for holiday gifts – everyone loves handmade toys.

Little Artist Palette

Melissa from Rebel and Malice is a wonder – she has FIVE gorgeous kids and still manages to sew a ton of cool stuff. I love seeing her spin on clothing patterns! One of my favorite recent posts of hers was this DIY deer costume. Her palette is so pretty, I love the metallic accents AND she shared a tutorial to make a fun little fabric paintbrush! Go check it out.

Little Collector Backpack

I’ve been watching Kelly share her work on Facebook for a long time, and I was so happy when I found her blog, Handmade Boy. Her kids are ridiculously cute AND her photography is beautiful – I know I have bought at least two patterns after seeing her version. She sewed up the most sophisticated, cool Little Collector, that you can see here. You should definitely check out the “back to school capsule” she sewed for her son, it will blow you away!

Little Photographers Camera

Ula blogs at Lulu & Celeste, she sewed up the cutest camera with panda bear fabric! Ula is so kind and sews the sweetest stuff – I don’t normally pay much attention to dresses but her pink tooth fairy costume was too cute.
