When I first started learning to sew, I bought fabric that I liked, without any plan or knowledge of how to use it. I ended up with a ton of flannel because it was so soft and so cheap! Once I actually learned how to sew, I realized I didn’t know what to do with all of it so it just kept sitting in my storage bins. Now that I’m wiser, I’ve made big plans to use up my flannel stash and now I have a big list of flannel projects to sew!
There are more options than scarves or lumberjack shirts (though those made the list too), so scroll down and check out all the different flannel friendly patterns I found. The second section is separated out for how to use up flannel fabric scraps, too! Let me know if you know of any other options I should add on.
