I hesitate to call this a tutorial, because it’s pretty simple, but I couldn’t think of a better phrasing. Tutorial it is!

I know there is a lot of chatter about DIY handmade gifts for guys – and this is a simple one! I made a set for my brother and brother-in-law but it would make a great gift for a teen or a woman as well. I picked a geek-chic computer themed fabric but you could easily personalize it with a favorite sports team, nice soft flannel, or upcycled fabric from a favorite shirt or blanket. I picture them using this at work especially – so hopefully they do!

Maternity clothes are expensive! As much as I like to shop, I like to shop thrift stores and clearance racks. Unfortunately, both of those can be hit or miss for maternity because it is a smaller demographic and department! I’ve had some luck but also wanted to try refashioning some of the things I already had or could find dirt cheap.
