Sewing with faux fur – 22+ sewing tutorials and patterns! If you’re ready to sew for winter, check out one of these fun fur sewing projects. There are ideas for sewing with fur for adults, kids, home, and apparel.

It’s hard to resist petting the bolts when you hit the fur aisle, it’s all so cozy! I don’t do a ton of fur and fleece sewing because I prefer natural fibers, but it sneaks its way into my cart every now and again. Many fur sewing tutorials only take a little bit of fabric so this is a great list to scan so you can use up the other pieces instead of storing them again!

I read several posts about sewing with fur before I started working with it myself, and my favorite is over at Fabric.com. If you’re inspired but not sure where to buy faux fur, try shopping small on Etsy, browsing JOANN’s selection, or don’t forget about buying a faux fur blanket and chopping it up: either new or even better secondhand from the thrift store!
